Dana was founded in the USA in 1904. Before the war it became famous for the axles of the Ford Model T and during the war for the Jeep. Today the Dana-Spicer group consists of 52 companies around the world, and its shares are among the longest-listed on the US stock exchange.
In Europe, Dana has plants in Rovereto, Italy, and Győr, Hungary, which is also home to its central spare parts warehouse. It makes components and complete assemblies for agricultural machinery, tractors, construction equipment, trucks and cars. The group also includes Clark, Clark-Hurt, Graziano and Brevini.
